Carlos Isaias Morales Williams better known in the world of music as Sech is a Panamanian singer, producer and composer who was born on December 3, 1993 in Colón Central America in Panama . He currently enjoys great popularity as he is one of the artists of the urban genre that has stood out the most worldwide and despite the fact that he does not have a great physique like his compatriots and colleagues in the genre, he has managed very well to be tremendously successful.

Sech is a Reggaeton/Dancehall singer, songwriter and producer from Panama. He is currently affiliated with Rich Music LTD. His discography includes popular songs like “Que Más Pues!”, with Justin Quiles, “Solita”, Farruko, “Lo Malo” and “Miss Lonely”. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in reggaeton music. To name a few, he has worked with Maluma, Dalex, Justin Quiles, Farruko, and Nicky Jam. Before venturing behind the microphone, he gained significant fame in Panama as a producer for the musical group El Combo de Oro.

The now famous singer Sech was born as Carlos Isaias Morales Williams on December 3, 1993 in Colón, Panama. He is the youngest of 4 siblings. Sech grew up in a Christian home , with several members of his family holding missionary positions. As one might imagine, they didn’t approve of his musical choices. Despite the first difficulties, Sech never gave up on his dream. He firmly believes that there is nothing impossible for whom he believes.

Sech was first introduced to music through his family. Several of his family were active members in his local church choir. As a result, he learned to play various instruments, including the guitar and the piano. At the age of 13, he began to create music; singing, composing and producing his work. He participated in numerous music groups before producing under El Combo de Oro. There, he established himself, building a reputation that in turn led to his fame.

Sech’s career and artistic history 

In 2016, Sech got behind the microphone and delivered crowd-pleasing singles. Three of his most popular songs were “El Error”, “X 4 Dias” and “Admitelo”. The songs were produced by El Combo de Oro. Within the next few years, each track would surpass a million streams.

In 2017, what many consider his single, Miss Lonely, was released. Uploaded in December, the song, released under Rich Music, has an ongoing YouTube view count of over 16 million. On Spotify, it is listed as the most popular song of hers with a staggering 30+ million streams. Other honorable mentions include “Con Bochinche” and “Toco Mentir”. She also collaborated with Akim on “Como Es” and Martin Machore on “La Fulana”. Perhaps her biggest achievement of 2017 was landing a recording contract with Rich Music LTD. Sech also released a 10 track mixtape titled “The Sensation”. The project featured several artists and was led by the single Con Bochinche.

Over the next two years, Sech toured Central America and Columbia. He also continued to introduce new projects and launch heat seekers. He has connected and worked with some of the biggest names in Reggaeton. In 2018, Sech recorded at least 10 songs that would exceed every 10 million streams. Three of his best singles were “Que Más Pues!”, with Justin Quiles, “Lo Malo” and “Miss Lonely Remix” with Dimelo Flow and De La Ghetto. In less than a year, the songs have amassed 41m, 35m, and 29m streams on YouTube, respectively. In December  Sech released the second installment of his “Sensation” mixtape.

” Suenos “, his latest mixtape, arrived in April 2019. With artists including, among others,  Darell , Manuel Turizo ,  Farruko and  Maluma . The tape was headed by “Otro Trago”, “Solita” and “Miss Lonely”. 2019 also saw some of his biggest collaborations. Sech was featured on Dalex’s “Pa Mi” remix along with other artists . In 2 months, the track has seen over 140 million streams. His collaboration with Farruko and Zion and Lennox on the single ” Solita ” has climbed north of 40 million streams in less than a month. He recently released “Sonando Despierto” and “Que Mas Pues”.

In July 2019, he released the single Dare, it is the song that brings Nicky Jam back together with Sech, and also probably one of the best collaborations that these two artists have with each other.

He also premiered Si Se Da, which is one of the most different songs that reggaeton has produced in recent months. With the same potential as Rebota by Guaynaa or Otro Trago by Sech and Darell, whose remixes disappointed more than one mainly because the parts of each artist seem like a cut and paste, the new version of Si Se Da breaks this bad streak. 

Sech had planned his great world tour that would be called “42 Tour” but he did not count on the coronavirus pandemic to hit the whole world, so he had to stop it but he continued to release more songs and the album that would accompany this tour;  “42” is the title of Sech’s fourth studio album that contains a message with which the Panamanian singer wants to “celebrate” the contributions of black people and at the same time show his most personal and professional essence. “It is my most personal record. That is the number that Jackie Robinson had, the first black man in the Major Leagues (of baseball) and from then on several black stars were born.”

At the beginning of 2022, the singer Sech celebrated that his music was still very strong within the public’s taste, since Sech was at the top of the top of “Viva Latino” on Spotify as one of the artists with the most reproductions throughout the beginning of the year; As if that were not enough, he was celebrating twice as Sech was notified that he was achieving more than 24 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 10 million users had added him as one of their “favorite artists” and had also nominated for the Lo Nuestro Award 2022 , in the categories of: “Remix of the Year” together with Jhay Cortez for the remix of “911” (with the collaboration of the producers: Dímelo Flow and Cerebro).
