Liomar Ricardo Acosta Orta, better known in the music world as Neutro Shorty , was born on the date of June 19, 1994 in Caracas, Venezuela. It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career occurred back in 2012, when he released 5 Historias: The Mixtape , where there was a compilation of 5 songs that made clear his skills for rapping and telling life stories. everyday with melody

The beginnings in the music of the now famous Neutro Shorty date back to when he was only 13 years old and he created the song  “Chicos Estúpidos”, with little production work due to his low resources, a song that he made known on the music platforms that existed at that time and later released others that had a comedic style such as “pal metroflog” and ”pal facebook” .

His creations were a “freestyle” loaded with comedy of what was happening on social networks at the time, with this he managed to have his first fans and followers. As if that were not enough, in the neighborhood where he lived he went out a lot with his friends to improvise songs and do rap battles just for fun, everything Neutro Shorty did for the love of music he combined with his daily life because he even worked in construction and he even sold newspapers to earn money and cover his expenses a little.

Few know that at that time Neutro Shorty was part of a Crew founded by him, called “Save your comments” or ATC Crew which was well known for its recurring street fights and highlighted actor vandalism but then the singer decided to move away from that type of life.

At that time Neutro Shorty came to know him as Luffy , a name that was born due to an anime called One Piece, and the character of “The King Of The Pirates”. Neutral Shorty in his adolescence wore a hat every day similar to the cartoon character and Luffy was his favorite character, but then he decided to change his name to Neutral Shorty because Luffy did not seem so “professional”.

In 2010, Neutro Shorty released his debut single, ” Pa’ Las Pokemonas” with his friend Treizy, which, although it did not manage to stand out much at the time, was undoubtedly a perfect song to publicize his musical career.

Why is it called Neutral Shorty? Regarding his stage name, in different interviews he commented that he had a motorcycle on which he liked to do stunts, one day when he went to do a “wheelie” he failed and his friends began to joke that “he stayed en Neutro” , over time he decided to adopt the word ” Neutro ” as his stage name, to which he soon added ” Shorty “, which refers to the fact that since he was a child he liked to compose songs.

A little later, in 2013, Neutro Shorty  presented the album known under the title 19 points , with which his popularity increased thanks to songs such as those titled: “We were friends”, “Noches en la Platabanda” and “Don’t call anymore.”

Later, in 2014, Neutro Shorty  announced that the famous producer known as Dr. Martínez would be his manager, in that same year he released the album entitled Buena Mierda , where the songs of: ” From a forest”, “Witch” and “Ghosts” . With the release of Buena Mierda, he consolidated his image in Venezuela, becoming a role model for young people due to his lyrics about personal improvement, which underlie the message that it is never too late or impossible to have a better lifestyle.

A short time later, in 2015, already with his own record label called Los Vatos Inc , Neutro Shorty  launched his album called “El Negocio Sucio”, which soon became a success thanks to the songs from and “Los Buenos Tiempos”, “Drogata”, “Limonar Masacre”, “Bien Drugado” and “Maquito”.

In 2017 Neutro Shorty  was at the Pepsi Music Awards in the Auditorium of the Polar Business Center, where he performed the musical theme entitled “El Reloj”, in collaboration with Sixto Rein, this song appeared on his studio album known by the name of ” Caligulas “, which has been considered one of Neutro Shorty’s most commercial throughout his artistic career.

Neutro Shorty was nominated at the Pepsi Music Awards in the “Trap” category, in which he soon turned out to be the winner. Later he premiered the song called “Cantante” in collaboration with Corina Smith and Big Soto , which would once again be added to lcantante’s hit list. A short time later, in 2019, he had an important collaboration with the rapper named Ñengo Flow in the interpretation of the musical theme known as “Pa Los Mios”.

But not all of it would be good news for the singer because at the end of 2019 Neutro Shorty was at a free concert that was known as “Banderas Blancas” which he organized himself together with Trap Money. The concert was planned to start at 10:30 in the morning, with an attendance of 800 people, however, an incident occurred at the park entrance, as some crowded fans entered the park en masse and generated a stampede that left 4 dead and more than 50 injured , all minors.

In January 2020  Neutro Shorty  had the great opportunity to sing a freestyle with the world famous producer Bizarrap, BZRP who by then had become very famous on YouTube for the collaborations he had made with other exponents of Latin rap and trap. Bizarrap released the song Neutral Shorty || BZRP Music Sessions #21  and that was how the singer joined a long list of great singers who had had the fortune to sing with BZRP  such as L-Gante ,  Snow Tha Product ,  Aczino ,  Polimá WestCoast , Bhavi , Pequeño77 , Frijo ,  Ptazeta and Morad  among others. Just one day after its premiere, the BZRP song together with Neutro Shorty  achieved almost 3 million views and in just one month it had exceeded 20 million. 

Due to this altercation, the organizers considered suspending the event, but it did not happen, since Neutro Shorty managed to sing a couple of songs in the middle of the ruckus, in attention to the followers who were already present, although others saw it with bad eyes that after a tragedy he continued singing as if nothing had happened.

Leaving aside the scandals, Neutro Shorty released the album Humble Boyz , in which the songs of: “Par de Besos”, “En el Blanco” and “La Punto 40” stood out, with the collaboration of prominent artists such as: Miky Woodz , Neo Pistea ,  Alemán , Duki and Santa Fe Klan and then in 2022 he released the mixtape called “Hay vida en Venus” and a year later “The World is Mine”.
