Who is MKS?

Marcos Adrián Mansilla , better known simply as MKS, is a famous singer exponent of the rap and freestyle genre who has managed to win numerous awards such as El quinto escalon and Supremacía MC Nacional Argentina, among others. MKS was born on February 22, 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently considered one of the best rappers and freestylers in his entire country.

Marcos Adrián Mansilla, better known by the stage name of MKS , was born on February 22, 1997 in Argentina. We know that when he was just a child he had to face the death of his mother, a victim of liver cancer against which he lost the battle. From that fateful moment, Marcos had to learn to survive in the world, and fortunately he was not entirely alone, as he has great support from his brother: Carlos Damián (although we know he prefers to be called Damián), better known as Wolf ‘s stage name  in the world of musical entertainment, particularly rap and freestyle.

In addition to being very close and relying on the rap competitions and contests that exist in his native Argentina; Marcos MKS  has always looked at Carlos Damián as a rapper model and beyond that, also as a great example to follow in life.

These boys are a clear example of strength, perseverance and vocation. They carry the attraction for rap in their blood and are faithful to their tastes and artistic desires, deciding to dedicate their lives to the world of music. So far, it can be said that they have done quite well. And as we will see, from an early age until the present year 2021,  Wolf and MKS or Damián and Marcos (as they are preferred to be called) participated in different competitions where they showed the values ​​with which they have grown and the courage that they carry in their character. natural, the same that drives them to continue fighting for their dreams and make their way in the world of rap.

As we have already pointed out, Marcos Adrián has participated in different important competitions. We have news of these participations since 2011 when MKS  was in his early days as a rapper, and he went to compete in Las Vegas Freestyle where he faced the artist Cio One, who would end up beating him.

The following year, in 2012  MKS participated for the first time in the Argentine contest known as El Quinto Escalón, of great importance for those who want to break through and begin to gain fame in the world of rap. It was then that in El Quinto Escalón he faced a freestyler with the stage name Luga, and emerged victorious. Later, in the same year 2012 he would continue to appear in competitions in which he would face his own brother  Wolf in Halabusa Movimiento Underground and Freestyle Wisdom.

The following year, in 2013  MKS was seen in the Madero Free competition, where he was the winner of Bunny and Monto, but could not against the artist Wichi. However, and here we can see an example of his courage in the competition and his characteristic perseverance,  MKS did not lose heart and made the decision to continue in this same competition together with his brother Wolf, since by competing together they were the winners of the duos made up of renowned artists: Wos and Rizas, Sony and Genas, and Alba and Dash.

It can be said that they were about to win, but these competitions are very close and finally they were defeated by the artists Underdann and Sony. Shortly after,  MKS would appear in the contest known as A Cara De Perro Zoo Jr, where he was the winner of rapper KZ, but was defeated by another rapper known as Proz.

For the year 2014, when MKS  participated again in El Quinto Escalón, we must be aware of their effort and the experience they had acquired from previous competitions. In addition to the fact that with each contest he perfected his musical talent and this could be seen in how he was ascending and how more and more public enjoyed his rap. In short, we can highlight his achievements over the artists:  Papo and Dan Yelus.

During the year 2016 MKS  had already made a name for himself given all the competitions in which he had participated, and his name was known especially in the El Quinto Escalón contest , where he was the winner of the prize known by the name of the contest and the current year. . But we can also consider that it is in this year when his international fame increased.

In 2017  MKS stood out for its participation in BDM Deluxe, a competition in which it reached fourth place, winning over Cehzar; however he could not get past Aczino . In this way he was the winner of 3rd place by beating his opponent named Klan. This year he won the El Quinto Escalón award again in 2017, and also the so-called Supremacía MC Nacional Argentina 2017.

Standing out for his performance, he had the opportunity to participate in the competition known as the Official Red Bull of Argentina, where we know that MKS  reached almost the end of the competition, staying in the round of 16 when he was defeated by  Papo  after beating Sok.

Later MKS  participated again in the El Quinto Escalón tournament, where he came to stand out in a final called triangular in which he was placed between the artists  Wos and Lit Killah , where he turned out to be the winner.

After this great triumph, he was successful again in the tournament called 2ys2 with Klan, in which he defeated the artists Tuqu and Nacho. MKS  participated again in the Fifth Step, this time almost winning, if it weren’t for the fact that they were defeated by Dtoke in the semifinals, however, we cannot ignore the fact that they beat the artists Jota, Tata and Ecko .

Thanks to this MKS  was recognized with the third place for the classification of the FMS of Argentina. We can describe their performance in this competition as follows: they suffered defeats at the hands of the artists known as Sub and Cacha ; and he was victorious over the artists Stuart , Klan and  Papo . Later he was a competitor in the contest known as Cruce de Campeones, beating Dominic in the quarterfinals after a replica and being defeated by the artist Nacho in the next round.

In 2019 MKS  participated in the Red Bull contest where it reached third place after being the winner of the artist Roma, while last year, in 2020, it announced on its social networks on November 2 that it would no longer be present on the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos Nacional Argentina 2020, and after a few minutes he also gave notice that it would be his last year as an asset in freestyle.

MKS is  considered an artist of the genre within rap known as a freestyler, although from his publications it is possible that he will continue to dabble in the rap genre later on. He has the Nevada Corp. record label. And to this day it is known that he continues to be a member of SSJ. Although it is true, we do not know much about MKS’s love life, we can talk about his history in musical groups. After the tragic death of his mother, he and his brother Damián attached themselves to his love with music in a way of dealing with the mourning process they were experiencing at the time; And that was how, together with their musical group named CMK, whose acronym stands for Mutante Krew Community, Marcos and Damián Mansilla became locals to participate in the El Quinto Escalón tournament.
