Who is Mc Davo?

David Sierra Treviño , better known as  Mc Davo, is a famous Mexican composer, singer and rapper who throughout his career has achieved great successes in music such as “My music is a weapon, Even if you’re gone, My defects, It’s always the himself, Like Batman, Who do you think?, You should know, Woman” , among others. Mc Davo  was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León on June 30, 1991 and is currently considered one of the most recognized and famous hip hop rapper-singer in Mexico.

Beginnings in the life of Mc Davo

McDavo, whose real name is David Sierra Treviño, was born in the city of Monterrey, NL. one on June 30, 1991 and is a hip hop rapper-singer. In December 2013, after working independently for five years and releasing two albums in that mode, he realized that his popularity was such that he was looking to collaborate with a team of people to allow him to bring his music to a new level.

From a very young age, he had the taste and passion for music in his veins, so from a very young age he sang for his family and friends at events and parties that took place at his home. He is currently one of the most recognized rap, freestyle and trap singers and songwriters of the moment.

On March 3, 2014, McDavo finally signed with Warner Music to achieve new goals.  Davo, with longtime producer Meny Mendeza by his side, can easily be considered a king of Facebook and Youtube, where he quickly amassed over 2 million followers and over 100 million video views. It is this popularity that secured MC Davo a record deal with Warner Music.

For the now famous MC Davo three artists who fostered his love for Rap style music when he was just 12 years old were minem, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg; however, his influence on him was never about emulating a specific lifestyle . “I learned different things from all of them,” he explains, “like how to create a flow style. I loved his work and his production style.”

At the age of 16, MC Davo took the first steps in his musical career by recording and releasing two songs with the help of friends. Soon after, he met Dr. Dre to his Snoop Dogg in producer Mendez, who is all over The Dominion. “We actually talked about it the other day,” he says of the comparison with a laugh. “He’s also an Eminem fan and we clicked right away.”

The two had been in the Monterrey Rap scene together for years, beginning with Davo’s debut EP, Haciendo Lo Imposible , where Davo began to make the impossible possible. Mendez helped him write a song, and the album led to invitations to rap battles in the Old Town. His victories on stage led him to the studio at Howse Records, where he recorded his second album, Lo Dejo A Tu Criteria. Later in 2009, Davo conquered Myspace in Mexico with a No.1 position thanks to his huge fan base and song streams.

In the following years MC Davo continued with great success in the world of music but above all the songs he made in collaboration with other great music stars stood out, some of the most successful songs were; “Callejera” in collaboration with the Santa Fe Klan , “Siempre es lo mismo” with Gera MX  and Samantha Barrón , “Light a Blunt” with  C-Kan  and Dharius , “Jorge to the child” with rapper Lefty SM , ¿Quién Te do you think? with Edén Muñoz  (Caliber 50) and at the beginning of MC Davo 2022 he premiered the song “No que no eras fan” together with La Santa Grifa .
