Maxine Woodside Sotomayor , better known only as Maxine Woodside, is a famous Mexican journalist, host and radio announcer who throughout her successful career has stood out on her program “Todo para la mujer” with more than 30 consecutive years on the air. Maxine Woodside was born on August 2, 1948 in Mexico City and is also known as  “La Reina de la Radio” for her great journalistic work and radio success.

Maxine Woodside Sotomayor, better known in show business as Maxine Woodside , came into the world on the date of August 22, 1948. It is our knowledge that her father, born in Missouri, United States under the name of Garret Woodside Davenport, moved to Mexico for work reasons, working in the airline known as Mexicana de Aviación as a pilot; while her mother, Angelina Sotomayor, is originally from Guadalajara. We have to point out that Maxine is the only daughter of Garrett and Angelina as a couple, however, she has other half-siblings.

He had an older sister named Alejandra Guzmán, who was married to actor Joaquín Cordero, while another of his half-brothers, named Garrett, like their father, died in a car accident, and another of his half-sisters died. before the birth of Maxine Woodside . In a recent interview, the journalist remembered a little about the first years of her life;  “I was born in Mexico City; my father was American and he came to live in the country, where he fell in love with my mother, who was born in Guadalajara. Both were already divorced and had children; then they had me and my brother Garrett, may he rest in peace”.
