Biography of Darius

Beginnings in the life of Dharius

Alan Alejandro Maldonado Tamez, better known in the freestyle world under the stage name of Dharius ; was born on September 24, 1984 in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It is considered that he began his artistic career in the year 1994, when he was only 9 years old when he was invited by his older brother Rodo and his cousins Fredo and Vhetto to be a member of the well-known rap group like The Ducks. In this group, Alan Alejandro would begin to write the lyrics of what would be his first songs, and he would perform at various underground gigs in the city of Monterrey.

During this period of his life, Dharius  came to be on television as a guest on the program Desvelados, whose host was Juan Ramón Palacios, who we know was at that time a young man with studies in communication, and a visionary personality, who gave opportunities to independent bands to perform live, at a time when the media and record labels were not supportive of alternative music groups.

Trajectory and history of Dharius

It is in the year 1996 when, at just 12 years old, the now famous  Dharius  records his first studio demo with Los Pattos. From this album would be derived two singles known by the names of “Tierra Mexicana” and ” Siento ” that would sound on the radio in some programs in the city of Monterrey. Especially with the theme of “Siento”, Alan Alejandro would have the opportunity to record his first video and obtain what would be his first recognition, which included him in the category of “Best Student Video” during the La Alpilha awards ceremony. de oro, which was given to the best of Monterrey music.

Although the Los Pattos musical group quickly became a promising project, Alan Alejandro ” Dharius”  suffered the separation of the group that dissolved after four years due to the commitments and responsibilities of its members.

It is towards the end of 1998 when Dharius joined a group known as Punto Demente, in which we know that he entered at the invitation of a couple of friends. This group from Punto Demente quickly managed to position itself among the best places in terms of underground rap in Monterrey, being pioneers of the Rap Street Movement in Mexico.

The following year, in 1999, Alan Alejandro, already with the stage name of Dharius , met the rapper Babo, who at that time was the leader of the group known as El Cártel de Santa , along with other rap groups from Monterrey formed the group known by the name of La Real Academia de la Rima. Here we know that Daharius recorded several songs and together with El Cártel de Santa he placed himself in a highly recognized position in rap at a national level.

Barely a year after the creation of the Royal Academy of Rhyme, Dharius received an invitation along with Babo to be part of the group called La Artillería Pesada , which had been founded by Fermín IV, who was the vocalist of Control Machete and at that time then considered the greatest exponent of rap.

Being part of La Artillería Pesada , Dharius recorded an album together with great rappers such as the internationally famous known as El Meswy (the greatest exponent of Spanish rap). However, for reasons that to this day remain a mystery, the record did not come to light. In 2002, Babo invited Dharius to provide his support in what would be the tour of the group’s first album El Cártel de Santa.

In 2003, El Cártel de Santa was invited to participate with a song in tribute to José Alfredo Jiménez, the group accepted the invitation and collaborated with the reissue of the song entitled “Ella”. Thanks to this song, they would release their first gold record that would have high sales.

With the growing fame of El Cartel de Santa, very soon Dhariushad the opportunity to collaborate in the production of the main theme for the Mexican version of the series Factor Miedo. Towards the end of that same year, El Cártel de Santa began recording their second album, and that is when Babo included Dharius as a formal member of the group. It was when Dharius recorded with El Cártel de Santa the album called Vol.2, where they had the collaboration of great rap figures such as Tego Calderón (originally from Puerto Rico). Arianna Puello (originally from the Dominican Republic) and the famous singer-songwriter Julieta Venengas. It was thanks to this album that Dharius and El Cártel de Santa appeared on international billboards; and they were nominated in the “best new artist” category at the awards known as the MTV Latin Awards, back in 2004.

In 2005, in addition to continuing to participate in international competitions, Dharius  had the opportunity to participate in the production of the soundtrack for a feature film known as Sueño. In this same year he would interpret together with El Cártel de Santa the main theme of the Mexican film Don de Dios, a year later Dharius  released together with El Cártel de Santa the album titled “Vol. Forbidden”, which gave him the opportunity to write and later perform a song with Mr. Sinful El Pecador, who is an internationally recognized rapper.

In 2007 Dharius  recorded a duet with the North American group known as Hata Proof, his participation was specifically in the song entitled “Si somos callejeros” , a song that made Texas rap popular and was one of the ingredients for the birth of rap. subcultural movement called “Los Texas” , which is defined as an urban tribe whose members are distinguished by a dress of tight pants, long shirts and different hairstyles.

In 2008 the album known as “Vol.4” would come to light , which was characterized by showing a more urban theme, which gave the distinction of “one of a kind” to El Cártel de Santa. And one of the consequences of this recognition was an intense concert tour in which large lines of fans would join, all of whom would group together in a club created on social networks that they named La Jauría. It would be then that Sincopa would come out , which would be the fifth album by Dharius himself that would break records back in 2010, and would particularly give Dhariushis second gold record. Given the success of Sincopa, the commemorative album called Sincopa 5.1 was released, which includes 4 previously unpublished songs, 5 videos by the group El Cártel de Santa , and a documentary entitled Una Historia as additional material. , where the adventures of El Cártel de Santa are told. In 2012 he made what would be his biggest concert tour, performing in more than 20 states of the Mexican Republic.

It would be in 2014 when Dharius  released his first solo album, which is called Directo arriba . We have to point out that this album constitutes one of the most ambitious projects in Dharius ‘s musical career . Regarding his decision to sing as a soloist, the artist confessed at that time:  “There I was waiting for an opportunity, I was always within reach of the Cartel, but when we were going to do Vol.6, my ideas didn’t fit there. on the album, and I decided to go and record as a soloist, on an album that was very different from everything I had done, my style is more noticeable, faster, more partying.” Dharius confessed in an interview for this news portal.

Throughout his great artistic career,  Dharius has managed to have a large number of musical successes, but one of the most outstanding occurred in 2020 when he released the single “Todos En La Cuadra Bien Locos” , a collaboration with C-Kan , Gera MX , Santa Fe Klan and Neto Peña  , which achieved more than 60 million views, becoming one of the most important and recent topics in  Dharius’s career. A few months later he would premiere “Arenosos” along with “Tiro Loco” and in 2021 he would again team up with  C-Kan for the song “El pasado está olvidado”.

Children and girlfriends of Dharius

We know little about Dharius’s love life since he has always preferred to keep his private life away from the public eye, however it has come to be known that he is in a relationship with a young woman named Samantha Sadat (samantha_sadat), the result of whose courtship they have already born two children.

Pack of Darius

Although on social networks and the internet people search a lot for the Dharius pack or for photos in which he can be seen scantily clad or in sensual poses, the truth is that currently there is no Dharius pack other than those photos that the artist has published on their own networks and that could be considered as sexy.

How much is Dharius’s fortune?

This is one of the questions that people ask themselves the most about Dharius and although they always end up answering it on other pages with “I don’t know” or “it depends” if there are some estimates that various web portals mention. However, it is not possible to make an exact calculation about the fortune of this great star that is Dharius within the middle of the show, even so, more than being interested in the fortune of a person, the important thing is the talent he has and what I have done that He is among the great figures of the international show business.
