Who is Zoraida Gomez?

Zoraida Virginia Gómez Sánchez  , better known only as Zoraida Gómez, is a famous Mexican actress of series and soap operas who has stood out in successful productions such as; Like, The woman of the gale, When I fall in love, Full of love, Girl of my heart and Rebel among others. Zoraida Gómez was born on May 31, 1985 in Mexico City and is also known for being the sister of  Eleazar Gómez .

Beginnings in the life of Zoraida Gómez

Zoraida Virginia Gómez Sánchez, better known simply as Zoraida Gómez in the world of acting, was born on May 31, 1985 in Mexico City. She is the sister of the also actor of Mexican nationality Eleazar Gómez , Jairo Gómez and the late Hixem Gómez.

The beginnings of her artistic career date back to 1993, when Zoraida Gómez  participated in the big screen film titled Unfaithful Women. The following year, in 1994, she appeared in the film called The Earth’s Edge. But her rise to fame would come when she participated in the soap opera known as Imperio de cristal, where she gave life to the character of Katia, a nice 8-year-old girl. We cannot ignore that in this novel, the name of  Zoraida Gómez was replaced by the stage name of “Zoravir Gómez”.

In 1995 Zoraida Gómez was nominated at the TVyNovelas Awards in the category of “best child performance” , thanks to her role in the soap opera Imperio de cristal. A little later, in 1996, she would appear in a video clip of the singer Tatiana, on the occasion of the song known as “El patio de mi casa”.

During that same year Zoraida Gómez  appeared in the telenovela known as Cañaveral de pasiones, where she played the child version of the character Julia Santos. We could also see her as La Chamos in the soap opera known as Azul.

In 2002, when she was already a teenager, by her own decision  Zoraida Gómez changed from the Televisa company to the TV Azteca competition, where she acted in the soap operas Agua y aceite with the character of Mariana, and the following year, in 2003, we could enjoy her acting talent in the telenovela called Enamórate as Darketa.

Shortly after, in 2007, Zoraida Gómez  would be part of the cast of the telenovela Lola érase una vez in the skin of the character known by the name of Rafaela Santo Domingo Torres-Oviedo. From 2008 to 2009 she would appear in the soap opera called En nombre del amor as Liliana Vega. It would also be during 2009 when we could see her in some episodes of the television program La rosa de Guadalupe.

In 2010 she would give life to Julieta Montiel in When I fall in love. While from 2012 to 2013 she would be in the shoes of Nuria Arévalo de Serratos in the telenovela La mujer del vendaval, later it would be in 2013 when  Zoraida Gómez  would make her appearance on the big screen with the character of Jimena in the well-known film with the name of What we could be.

The following year, in 2014, Zoraida Gómez  would participate in the television program Me caigo de risa, where she would be a member again in 2017 and 2018. We cannot ignore the fact that it was also in 2017 when she appeared on the program known as Exatlón, while in 2018 he would return to the world of soap operas with the interpretation of the character of Isadora Granados for the production known as Like.

As of 2018 Zoraida Gómez decided to dedicate herself to her personal life with her then boyfriend Jorge Torres with whom in 2020 she had her first son named Maximiliano Torres Gómez.

Regarding the personal life of the actress Zoraida Gómez, she is currently the mother of a child named Maximiliano Torres Gómez, whose father is called Jorge Torres, and has been in a relationship with Zoraida since 2017.

Regarding the birth of her first child,  Zoraida Gómez decided to share her joy and happiness with her fans through her social networks, this is how in her profile on her Instagram social network account, she shared the name “Maximiliano Torres Gómez ” accompanied by a heart-shaped emoticon. With this simple caption and image, all her followers understood what her favorite actress was referring to, and the expressions of joy and congratulatory comments for the new mother did not wait.

After a few hours, Zoraida Gómez shared a picture again, where she showed her newborn son Maximiliano lying on the torso of his father and Zoraida’s partner: Jorge Torres, at the caption of the photo, the actress wrote the tender text of: ” my loves”. Later, in an interview, he announced that Maximiliano, his first son, came into the world through a natural birth at 6 in the morning on September 9, 2020. Here are the words where he narrates in detail how the surprise arrival of his son:

“The baby was born. I want to tell you that everything went perfectly. He was a natural childbirth. The truth is that it was a very lucky birth because it took only a few hours. Contractions started at 11pm. I arrived at the hospital at 3 in the morning, and the point is that at 4:30 they took me down to the operating room and my baby was born at 6 in the morning… I am happy because he was born healthy, he was born well.”

We cannot forget that before her labor began, Zoraida Gómez  went into labor, she was interacting with her fans, sharing the emotions she had at that moment, and asking for advice to distract herself while the doctors assisted her and she approached every once again the time to bring little Max into the world. This birth filled his life as a couple with joy, but also the lives of his close friends and family, as well as his followers, as can be deduced from the comments he received after his posts, especially when the name of the baby was already known and the little one could be seen in the photos.
