Ximena Duggan was born in the year 1993 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Her mother was a member of a musical group from the 1980s called Carmín; while her father is one of the founders of the well-known band Maná.

TV Azteca announced the premiere of the new season Exatlón in August 2021, a format and program that had been tremendously successful in several countries and for the third time would be taking place in Mexico with sports commentator Antonio Rosique as the host of the program.

The show began with two teams “Guardines y Conquistadores” who would face tough physical and mental tests in order to find the best athlete and who would take not only the Exatlón title but also two million pesos. Ximena Duggan  was selected after doing a casting to be able to enter the broadcast and from the first day she was showing that she had everything to reach the final. The program was not only successful but also became a television phenomenon that had not been on TV for a long time, and even less so on TV Azteca, so much so that the reality show lasted 6 months on the air.

In Exatlón 2021  “Guardines and Conquerors”  the participants were divided into two teams, the first made up of being the  Guardians  (red team): Briseida Acosta, Alely Hernández, Jahir Ocampo, Mario Orozco, Dulce Miranda, Alex Alpuche, Estephanie Solís, Nataly Gutiérrez, María Pérez, Daniel Vargas and Alan Mendoza;  while the team of Los Conquistadores (blue team) was made up of Macky González , Marisol Cortés, David Juárez(The Beast), Ximena Duggan, Tanya Nuñez, Fernando Stalla, Enrique Guerrero, Ramiro Garza, Jonathan García, Yareli Arguijo, and Osirys Escobedo; In addition, as if that were not enough, as in past seasons, throughout the competition, more participants were entering. 

At the end of 2021, the fifth season of Exatlón México premiered , in which they again bet on new talent and a few familiar faces, however, this new broadcast did not have good audience levels and was a failure compared to previous seasons , even though They invited former contestants to join and devised tests such as “Special Forces” or “Legends Games” where several former and very famous competitors returned, but even so, success did not accompany this season and when Exatlon generally lasts 6 months, in this occasion was rushed so that it ended in just 3 months and eliminating many of the participants a week before the final, Duggi being one of themunable to reach the final.

The production quickly devised and formalized the new season of “Exatlón All Star” in February 2022, where they would again bring the best-known athletes from previous seasons, but this time only finalists and winners to find a single winner. Ximena Duggan was invited to “Exatlón All Stars”  even though she did not comply with the program’s rules of being a “finalist or winner” of a previous season, even so from day one she showed that she had been preparing for weeks before to be back in the TV Azteca reality show.
