Who is Vadhir Derbez?

Vadhir Derbez González Torres , better known as Vadhir Derbez , was born on February 18, 1991 in Mexico City. He is the son of the comedian and actor Eugenio Derbez and the artist Silvana Prince , he has two half-siblings who are just as famous as him: José Eduardo Derbez ,  Aislinn Derbez  and Aitana Derbez. Vadhir Derbez has currently excelled in acting, participating in several films as well as in music.

Biography of Vadhir Derbez

From a very young age, Vadhir Derbez took his first steps in acting since he was 6 years old and made small appearances on television alongside his father and even appeared in his famous television series “La Familia Peluche” .

At the age of 8, he began studying at the Televisa Children’s Training Center, later at the CasAzul Academy, at the Culver Academy in the United States and taking improvisation courses at The Groundlings Academy, always preparing before trying to appear in soap operas or series and doing it wrong because he has always assured that what makes a person good at something is preparation and he can boast a lot about that.

His first ‘official’ appearance was next to the singer Belinda when they both participated in the Mexican telenovela ‘Cómplices al rescate’ , a children’s soap opera that turned out to be a tremendous success and the one that catapulted Belinda ‘s career , of course Vadhir also had some exposition. Later he appeared in the melodrama ‘De few fleas’ ; the television programs ‘Par de Ases’, ‘Mujer casos de la vida real’ and ‘Vecinos’.

Although Vadhir Derbez had several approaches in music since he appeared in Cómplices Al Rescate where he had to sing since it was a children’s soap opera and musical, however it was not until 2016 when Vadhir Derbez decided to start his career as a singer, releasing an EP that even some songs composed by him. Sadly none of his songs turned out to be successful and his musical career went completely unnoticed.

Regarding his musical style, Vadhir commented: “I am very excited because my new songs go a little more with the ‘flow’ that is being heard right now, I think it is something that can be heard perfectly in clubs, it is lively, it is for dance, to put in the car, so I think people will receive it very well, I hope so” , said Vadhir Derbez in a recent interview. The result was the same and none of his released songs managed to impact society, so he stayed again in an attempt to venture into music with great success.

‘Twenty-year-old, divorced and fantastic’ was a film starring Vadhir Derbez and Paulina Goto released on March 13, 2020. Vadhir Dervez became the protagonist of the film Seventh Day Movie a few months later . About his participation in this drama he commented: ” I am happy that soon you will see more of this horror movie and meet Father Daniel.
