Pedro Tovar was born on the date of July 22, 2002 in California, United States. Pedro Tovar is currently known for being part of the musical group known as Eslabón Armado , along with Bryan Tovar and Gabriel Hidalgo, despite the fact that they were all born in the neighboring country, from an early age they had contact with regional Mexican music. due to the musical tastes of his parents. In this regard, Pedro Tovar has commented on how his beginnings were in a recent interview: “My parents did listen to the Mexican regional. One day they changed him and Ariel Camacho appearedin a song, I think it was the one from “El Karma”, and I was interested and that was when I did my research and saw that he passed away, but that’s when I got the inspiration to play the guitar.” He shares with his colleagues in the musical group the admiration for the music of the now deceased Ariel Camacho , being that from the beginning they leaned towards Sierra music.

It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career occurred when  Pedro Tovar debuted together with his group Eslabón Armado that came with the song ” Con tus besos ” a musical theme with which Pedro Tovar from Eslabón Armado conquered all of Mexico.

We cannot ignore the fact that towards the end of last year 2020, Pedro Tovar, together with his colleagues from Eslabón Armado, presented a live version of his debut song called “Con tus besos”, in which he had the collaboration of the regional Mexican music group called  T3r Elemento  together with its vocalist  Kristopher Nava  , which further boosted the already successful career of the Sierra group.

After several years of success, all his efforts were rewarded when Pedro Tovar from Eslabón Armado was nominated for the 2021 Premios Juventud with his group Marca MP in the categories “New Mexican Regional Generation” and Viral Track Of The Year for the song “Con tus besos” . “ ; in these categories they competed with great music figures such as Christian Nodal , Ángela Aguilar ,  Nuevo Elemento , Remmy Valenzuela , Los Dos Carnales , El Fantasma , Pedro Vargas (Marca MP) among others. 

This had not only been the only success for the group, since previously Eslabón Armado , a relatively young band at that time, managed to win the 2021 Billboard Music Award in the Top Latin Duo/Group category for the first time in its history. After this news was released, the group thanked their fans for their support. “Good morning, my beautiful people, always grateful to God with you, with our parents, our company, this award is yours, my race. We won Top Latin Duo/Group at the Billboard.” In addition, at the same time they celebrated their 5 nominations for the AMA awards.
