José Francisco Carmelo Augusto Sosa Noreña, better known in the world of musical entertainment as José Joel , was born on November 27, 1975. He is the son of the famous singer José José. It is our knowledge that the beginnings of his artistic career are usually located in the year 1988, when he was part of the cast of the musical theater play known as Timbiriche Vaselina, in which he was in charge of interpreting the character of Teen Angel, thus discovering his natural talent for singing and acting. Being aware of this, his parents always supported him so that he could advance his artistic career along with his academic development.

A little after his participation in Timbiriche Vaselina, José Joel got a job on weekends where he was seen in family productions, among which we can mention the titles of: Los tenis Rojos (along with Angélica Vale) as well as productions directed to a children’s audience such as Tom Sawyer and Robin Hood.

Later, in 1993, José Joel  returned to work alongside Angélica Vale in the play Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, under the orders of producer Alejandro Gou. While the following year, in 1994, he recorded with his father the single known as “La Fuerza de la Sangre”, where he was included with his father in a tour of the continent to highlight the Mexican Greatness, thus giving the great leap to fame and consolidating as a singer.
