José Jaime Maussan Flota ,  better known only as Jaime Maussan, is a famous journalist and television host who became famous for his studies and research on extraterrestrial life and UFOs that have fascinated him since he was a child. Jaime Maussan was born in Mexico City and since 2005 he has been in charge of his program “Tercer Milenio” which, although it has had small name changes such as “Tercer Milenio 360 or Tercer Milenio por La Vida” remains the same.

José Jaime Maussan Flota, better known as Jaime Maussan only, was born on the date of May 31, 1953 in Mexico City. His parents were Abraham Maussan and Melba Flota.

Jaime Maussan studied journalism at UNAM, and later continued to professionalize at Miami University, located in Ohio, in the United States, where he specialized in radio and television.

It is considered that his artistic career began in 1970, when Jaime Maussan began working at W Radio México and Televisa. Around those same dates, it is our knowledge that he was collaborating with the newspaper El Sol de México.

We cannot ignore the fact that it was in 1970 when Jaime Maussan  began working on the transmission of the program known as 24 hours, in which he was until 1998.

Be that as it may, over the years, Jaime Maussan has been at the center of many controversies , such as the case that was known as “Ser de Metepec”; who in the end turned out to be a transporter boss with corrupt connections, who together with a talented taxidermist decided to play a practical joke on Jaime Maussan by presenting him with a marmoset that had been tanned by the blood of other animals, giving it a hairless appearance, and stuffed in such a way that it seemed to be an inhabitant of another planet.

Jaime Maussan bought the figure of the alleged alien for about 300,000 pesos . In his program, Maussan affirmed that it was an extraterrestrial specimen, since no forensic scientist had been able to determine its DNA that matched that of any existing creature on our planet. At this point we must mention that one of the principles of ufology is not to find positive evidence, but to avoid negative evidence. Thus, the supposed finding of the being from Metepec made Jaime Maussan believe that he had found a negative test that served as confirmation of extraterrestrial life.

A short time later, the journalist and ufologist organized a large event at the National Auditorium, saying that he finally had true proof of an alien presence on planet Earth. On this occasion, an exhibition showing bodies and photographs of beings from other planets could be seen inside the National Auditorium . Although we have to point out that outside the community made up of  Jaime Maussan ‘s followers , these tests were not enough to convince the majority of the population.
