Alan Omar Leyva Navarro , better known only as Alan Navarro, is a singer and songwriter who became famous after being a  member of the group CD9. Alan Navarro was born on February 25, 1995 in Mexico City and in 2021 he decided to embark on a solo career after separating from the CD9 group.

Alan Omar Leyva Navarro, better known in the world of musical entertainment as simply Alan Navarro , was born on February 25, 1995 in Mexico City. His parents are Raúl Leyva and Nadia Navarro, and he has two younger siblings, who go by the names of Iván and Karen.

According to what the singer has confessed in various interviews, in his childhood  Alan Navarro did not really show much interest in show business, and he was a boy who liked to go to school and enjoy the company of his grandparents and of his friends. While still very young, he suffered the loss of his mother, and we know that he managed to overcome this pain and get ahead thanks to the unconditional support of his siblings and his grandparents.

It is considered that the beginning of his artistic career was when Jos Canela appeared in his life when they both coincided in a concert of the musical group known as Thrirty Seconds to Mars. However, it is said that at first Alan and Jos did not get along at all, but later Jos and Alonso planned the formation of a band, and it was when they decided to integrate Alan as part of what would become known as the musical group CD9 that finally It ended up being made up of Jos Canela , Alonso Villalpando, Alan Navarro ,  Freddy Leyva and Bryan Mouque , being the last to join since William Valdés was originally in the group but for a very short time. 

In August 2013 they released their first single that was known as “The Party”, a song that was composed by Mike Zanetti, who also helped them with the creation of a music video, which was posted on the YouTube platform, being so that they caught the attention of the vice president of the company Sony Music Mexico, who contacted them to sign a contract. At the end of 2013, another version of the song “The Party” came out on December 17 with the Sony Music Mexico record label.

A year later they released the song “Angel Cruel”, and in March of this year the album titled The Party/Ángel Cruel came out; which would follow on June 10, Step 2, which would contain the singles “What I gave you”, “Come, tell me no”. While their third single would be the theme that would raise them to fame, known under the title “I was wrong”, a great success for the career of the group and  Alan Navarro.

In 2015 they released the album CD9: Love & Live Edition and then released the album Evolution, which was followed by a reissue called Revolution, their last studio album was titled 1.0 and with which they embarked on a concert tour called Airplane Mode Tour being the last one they did as a group because the end of CD9 was near. 

After Joss Canela left the group, the rumors of the final separation did not wait, since the first to decide to venture as soloists were the singers Joss Canela and Freddy Leyva, thus only Alan Navarro remained as members of the band. , Alonso Villalpando and Bryan Mouque; but after a trip they made as a farewell, they announced in 2020 the end of CD9 in the world of musical entertainment and its disintegration. 

In this way, they thanked their fans for having accompanied them throughout the band’s existence, and for having made possible their foray into the musical world as artists. Specifically, Alan Navarro wrote on his Instagram social network account: “There are too many moments, experiences and dreams that we have lived together throughout these years. During this time, we never imagined how far our dream would go… We enjoyed a memorable trip together and there are not enough words to express and thank you for being our traveling companions on this crazy adventure. We want to thank each and every one of the coders for all their dedication, their passion, their patience and above all for their infinite understanding.”

It was in mid-2021 when  Alan Navarro broke the news that he  would start his career as a solo singer after the band disintegrated, he also announced that he had signed his first album with the record company known as Universal Music.

The singer Alan Navarro  confessed that he felt immensely happy about the new stage that he was about to start in his personal life and in his artistic career; “I think that when you are positive and keep doing what you like, things come by themselves, they settle by themselves. I started working on my music, just to distract myself, to leave that feeling of emptiness left by the end of the band (CD9), and it worked. The Universal label was interested in listening to my music, they loved it and that makes me super happy and super happy and it is a fact that I am signing with them.”

Alan Navarro also confessed that he was a bit nervous about going on stage alone, however, it was also a challenge that he was in the best position to overcome; as if that were not enough, the musical proposal of Alan Navarro sounded totally different from the one that is identified with the group CD9 because although he did like what he sang with the group, now as an adult he did not feel so identified “With my new music I have tried to sound like myself, the music with which I grew up as a child. I looked for a sound attached to me and now that I started working with my producers, I discovered that there was a part of me that was asleep, because I hadn’t had the opportunity to experience my musical world and today that I have it, I’m very happy with everything. that we have achieved and I am super anxious that people can hear it ”.

Among Alan Navarro ‘s favorite hobbies  are skating, reading, playing basketball and taking pictures. His favorite dish is green enchiladas, particularly the ones that are very spicy. Some curious facts are that he really likes to draw, an activity for which he is very talented, he is also characterized by being a person who is always looking for the positive and fun side of life, and those who know him closely have commented that he has a laughter that they qualify as too contagious.
